Jenny McCumber
Executive Director
Jenny joined the LAPS Foundation as executive director in January 2020. She has enjoyed living in Los Alamos since 2003. An involved community volunteer, Jenny served as a Los Alamos School Board member from 2015-2019. She grew up in Texas and attended Baylor University where she received a B.A. in History and English and then graduated from Baylor Law School with a juris doctorate. Jenny is licensed to practice law in Texas and New Mexico. She worked for a few years at the New Mexico Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department as a staff attorney and also did contract legal work for a time when her children were small but then focused on parenting and volunteering. Her husband, David, is an attorney and works at LANL in the business law group for the Office of General Counsel. Their three sons graduated from LAHS.
Krystal Roach
Operations and Finance Coordinator
Krystal Roach is a graduate from Los Alamos High School and long time resident of Los Alamos. She has worked at the LAPS Foundation since 2008 and has a wide range of duties including financials, website updates, and daily administrative operations. She is the mother of 2 children, Lindsay and Tristen, who also graduated from LAHS. Her spouse is Jeff Roach.
DeAnna Simons
Administrative Assistant
DeAnna Simons joined the LAPS Foundation staff in 2021 to provide as-needed administrative assistance. As a regular substitute for Los Alamos Public Schools, DeAnna enjoys working with children at Mountain School and provides help for the office staff at Mountain when needed. She has two children who are graduates of LAHS and now college students.
